Comox Kidz, A Child Centered Curriculum
At Comox Kidz we provide high quality childcare, where the children get a lot of one on one attention.
We operate with two staff members to a maximum of seven children.
We strive to create a warm inviting atmosphere that encourages creativity, learning, exploration, and friendships.
We want your child to feel like a special guest in our home.We do this by designing our curriculum around what is important to the children in our care. We encourage their input, their ideas, their likes and dislikes, and then we design our program accordingly.
We have toys and activities designed specifically for children from infants through to school age.
At Comox Kidz we want your child to feel excited at the end of each day, looking forward to the next day of activity.
Here are some of the things that we do at Comox Kidz
ARTS & CRAFTS:
BAKING:
Cookies, treats, preparing snack.
OUTDOOR PLAY:
Large deck, fenced in yard with cemented play area, climber with slide, sand play, gardening, picnics, walks to the parks, forest walk along the creek to the beach.
SCIENCE:
Rock and shell collecting, seal spotting, bird watching, bug collecting, aquarium fish care, and microscope fun.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
Movies, computer time, field trips, and parties.
